Our Unique Ministry Moment

Plainfield is growing fast. Families are moving in. Needs are increasing. And God is at work – calling us to this moment, together!

“… And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

We believe He’s calling us to go All In. Let’s go All In together and see what God will do!

Our Goals

We’re embarking on a two-year initiative with two main goals:

We want 100% of our church family to be able to say, “Yes, I want to be used by God. I’m All In, for such a time as this.” Going All In means that every person at Plainfield Christian Church will engage and commit to this faith and generosity initiative.

The total cost of this project is $20 million, and we are prayerfully aiming to raise $10 million over the next two years in addition to our regular budget.

In addition, as a church, we will contribute $2 million from our savings toward this project, leaving us with a total debt of $8 million to pay off. Our goal is to keep our debt load at 15% or less of our annual budget.

Jesus says that a clear indicator of whether we’ve gone All In with Him is if we have trusted Him with our finances. In Matthew 6:21, Jesus says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Our sacrificial giving will allow us to both act boldly to meet the needs of this ministry moment while also staying financially lean and flexible enough to not be hindered by a bloated budget or debt. Prayerfully, we know that the mission of God’s church will go as far and as fast as the generosity of God’s people allows!

We are embarking on a God-sized vision to refresh and repurpose our facility to meet the needs of our community. We have four main objectives:

A new Student space to raise up resilient young people who are growing with Jesus.

A Hospitable
Guest Experience

Simplified navigation, better first impressions, and clear next steps to welcome guests!

A Missional
Family Space

Expanded play areas and welcoming environments for kids of all ages open during the week.

An Intentional Outreach

A special gift from our church will be shared with every family who buys a house or has a baby in our community.

How to Go All In

Here are three ways for each of us can go All In:
Set a daily prayer reminder on your phone for 4:14pm, to remind us of Esther 4:14. When that alarm goes off, pray, “God, here I am. Use me. Use us, for such a time as this.” Every day, we will pray that God would multiply our efforts to make disciples and make much of Christ. Pray that He would do abundantly more than we ask or imagine for His great name.
Ask Jesus how He wants you to go All In. Say yes to what God may be asking: to get baptized, have the courage to work on your marriage or mend a relationship, or to start the habit of getting into God’s Word. Every day, we will pray that God would multiply our efforts to make disciples and make much of Christ. Pray that He would do abundantly more than we ask or imagine for His great name.
Commit financially to fuel this vision over the next two years by making a commitment to a lifestyle of sacrificial generosity. The mission of God is fueled by the generosity of God’s people.
